On February 28, 2008 the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation hosted a Baseball Leadership Forum in conjunction with the opening of the Museum's newest blockbuster exhibit Born to Play Ball. Prior to the leadership forum the 41st President, George W. Bush, Sr. and guests took part in a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony that officially marked the opening of the new exhibit.
