Bryan Native Cathy Zepeda (pictured with her son, Lucas) was named Special Olympics - Gulf Coast Area Coach of of the Year during the Area 22 Spring Games held May 5-6, 2017 in Dickinson, TX.  Cathy, who lives in Meadows Place and volunteers with the ARC of Fort Bend County, has coached track and field, softball, and basketball for over 10 years, and recently took on coaching a volleyball team.  The Special Olympics Gulf Coast Area hosted 46 teams from 93 cities and towns in 7 counties.   Congratulations, Cathy … and as you always say, “Time flies when you’re having fun!”
